Day 1 - Arrival in Darjeeling – Welcome to the Queen of the Hills
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist you with your scenic transfer to Darjeeling, one of India's most popular hill stations. The journey covers approximately 105 km and takes around 3–4 hours, passing through picturesque tea gardens, lush forests, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
Situated at an altitude of 2,123 meters (6,970 feet), Darjeeling, famously known as the Queen of the Hills, is celebrated for its cool climate, colonial charm, world-famous tea estates, and panoramic views of the majestic Kanchenjunga. On clear days, visitors may also enjoy distant views of Mount Everest.
Darjeeling is also home to the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, popularly known as the Toy Train, offering one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world.
After checking into your hotel, spend the evening at leisure exploring the vibrant Mall Road (Chowrasta), local markets, cafés, and souvenir shops, or simply relax amidst the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere.

Day 2 - Darjeeling Local Sightseeing (Half Day) – Tiger Hill Sunrise & City Tour
Start your day early at 3:45 AM with a scenic drive to the famous Tiger Hill, located at an altitude of 2,440 meters (8,000 feet). Drive through beautiful oak, pine, and magnolia forests to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak (subject to clear weather). On exceptionally clear mornings, visitors may also catch a distant glimpse of Mount Everest.
On your return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery, the iconic Batasia Loop, and the War Memorial, where you can admire panoramic Himalayan views and the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train).
Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest before continuing your Darjeeling Half-Day Local Sightseeing Tour. Visit the renowned Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan wildlife, followed by the famous Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) (Closed on Thursdays). Enjoy spectacular aerial views from the Darjeeling Ropeway, explore Tenzing & Gombu Rock, visit the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sundays), stroll through a scenic Darjeeling Tea Estate, and explore the Natural History Museum (Closed on Sundays). End your sightseeing at the peaceful Japanese Peace Pagoda, one of Darjeeling's most visited landmarks.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Spend your leisure time exploring the nearby market, cafés, or simply relaxing amidst the serene Himalayan atmosphere.

Day 3 - Transfer to Kalimpong & Local Sightseeing
After a delicious breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Kalimpong, a picturesque hill station located approximately 65 km from Darjeeling. The scenic journey takes around 2–3 hours, passing through lush green valleys, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
Perched at an altitude of 1,243 meters (4,078 feet), Kalimpong is renowned for its pleasant climate, colonial heritage, vibrant local markets, Buddhist monasteries, and panoramic views of the mighty Kanchenjunga. The town is also famous for its beautiful flower nurseries and exotic orchid and cactus collections.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before heading out for an exciting Kalimpong Local Sightseeing Tour. Visit the Forest Museum (Closed on Thursdays), enjoy panoramic views from the famous Deolo Hill, seek blessings at Hanuman Mandir, explore the historic Dr. Graham's Homes, visit the peaceful Durpin Monastery, admire the spiritual beauty of Mangal Dham Temple, and discover the unique Pine View Nursery, renowned for its rare collection of cacti and succulents.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Kalimpong's lively local market, handicraft shops, cafés, or one of its many flower nurseries at your leisure.

Day 4 - Transfer to Pelling & Half-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful hill town of Pelling, located approximately 90 km away from Kalimpong. The scenic drive takes around 2–3 hours, offering mesmerizing views of lush valleys, forests, rivers, and the majestic Himalayan landscape.
Situated at an altitude of 2,072 meters (6,800 feet), Pelling is one of the most popular tourist destinations in West Sikkim. On clear days, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, including Kanchenjunga, Mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Narsing, Sinolchu, Zopuno, and Shimbho.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour. Visit the picturesque Rimbi Waterfalls and Rimbi Rock Garden, known for their natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. Continue to the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, one of Sikkim's most revered Buddhist pilgrimage sites. It is believed that wishes made here come true, and local folklore says that birds keep the lake free from fallen leaves. Also visit the serene Khecheopalri Monastery and the magnificent Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Sikkim.
After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the famous Pelling Helipad View Point, local shopping areas, cafés, or simply enjoying the stunning sunset views over the Himalayas.

Day 5 - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day)
After an early breakfast, embark on a memorable full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) and the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, two of the most iconic attractions in East Sikkim. Located approximately 40 km from Gangtok, the scenic drive takes around 2–3 hours, passing through winding mountain roads and spectacular Himalayan landscapes.
Situated at an altitude of 3,753 meters (12,313 feet), Tsomgo Lake is a magnificent glacial lake, nearly 50 feet deep, surrounded by snow-covered mountains. The lake remains frozen during the winter months and is famous for its crystal-clear waters, breathtaking scenery, and rare Himalayan wildlife. It is also a seasonal habitat for Brahminy Ducks and several migratory bird species.
Continue your journey to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to the legendary Indian Army soldier, which attracts thousands of visitors every year for its unique history and spiritual significance.
Guests can also opt for an exciting visit to the famous Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability and additional charges), located approximately 20 km from Baba Mandir. Situated on the historic Indo-China Border, Nathula is one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world and offers spectacular Himalayan views.
After sightseeing, return to Gangtok. In the evening, enjoy leisure time exploring the vibrant MG Marg, Gangtok's popular shopping street, cafés, restaurants, and local handicraft stores.
Note: In case Tsomgo Lake remains closed due to landslides, heavy snowfall, or adverse weather conditions, an alternative sightseeing program will be arranged.

Day 6 - Departure from Gangtok – Transfer to NJP / Bagdogra
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey from Gangtok to Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus. The journey covers approximately 135 km and takes around 4–5 hours, offering one last opportunity to admire the scenic beauty of the Eastern Himalayas, lush valleys, and winding mountain roads.
As your memorable Sikkim & Darjeeling Tour comes to an end, carry home unforgettable memories of majestic mountains, serene monasteries, pristine lakes, colorful landscapes, and the warm hospitality of the Himalayas.
